Michael Groves

Michael is a geographer with a PhD in remote sensing and GIS. He initially worked as an environmental policy specialist with Aspinwall before establishing the Indonesian environment and forestry division of SGS, the world's biggest independent inspection company. The division led on ISO14001 environmental management systems, sustainable forestry certification and pre-IPO due diligence projects throughout South-east Asia.

Michael is the co-founder of Great Circle, a College Hill company, which advises companies on branding, marketing, communications strategy, stakeholder engagement and environmental reporting. He has worked closely with companies in the financial, mobile technology, entertainment, mapping, food/drink, natural resources and environmental management sectors.
